Can somebody tell me why all the books have David Ragan in this race????
Match-Ups (all lines from the greek)
1.50 units Carl Edwards (+100) over Kyle Busch
Kyle has finished 1st or 2nd in 6 straight but I like Edwards here(2 wins a 3rd and 6th last 4 races at Gateway) and has really been coming on since Richmond (10 races-5.9 avg/ 6 Top 5's).
A little advantage with Kyle not running here since '06 and this basically being Carl's home track, possibly a 1-2 finish for these two but liking the 60 for the win.
1.50 units Brian Keselowski (-105) over Kevin Harvick
Kez had his streak of 6 Top 6 finishes snapped last week(5 of those were Top 3's) but I'm looking for him to return to Top 5 tonight, hoping for Top 3. Will need it to top Harvick.
1.50 units Jason Leffler (-135) over Mike Bliss
Leffler has back-to-back 4th place finishes here and has been consistently good every week in '09(14 Top 10's in 16 races). Bliss has back-to-back-to-back 31st or worse finishes at Gateway and has been very inconsistent in '09 (last 16- 9 Top 10's/6 finishes of 22nd or worse)
1.00 units Brad Coleman (+100) over Stephen Leicht
I think Leicht is the better talent behind the wheel but Coleman has to show up in this car sooner or later if he wants to stay around w/Gibbs. He is in one of the two top rides in the NWS and like everyone knows RCR has been down this year, gonna give the kid a shot here.
Outrights
Thinking Edwards here but not at +225 so taking a few shots with:
0.50 unit Brad Keselowski +650
0.30 unit Reed Sorenson +850
0.20 unit Jason Leffler +1600
Good luck everybody!
